Bookkeeper/ AP Specialist 3-month contract to perm-Surrey, BC

Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with a mechanical contracting company located in Surrey, BC. This client is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for an immediate start on a 3-month contract basis which has the strong potential to become permanent. You will be working in office from their Surrey location for 5 days a week.
Your new role
You will handle a range of duties including but not limited to:
Processing & Posting of Invoices
Processing Employee Expense Claims
Setup of Payments in RBC Express
Prepaid and Monthly Postings
Monthly Utility Invoice Tracking
Supplier Discounts & Statements
What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful candidate you will possess at minimum:
2+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience
Technologically savvy with experience within Microsoft office suite applications
Organized and direct communication skills with the ability to organize workflow and priorities accordingly
Can-do team-oriented mindset and attitude to ensure all departments are assisted as needed
What you'll get in return
Weekly pay at a rate of up to $30/hour
