Your new role
As an Architectural Technologist your responsibilities will be:

  1. Developing detailed construction drawings and specifications for living, learning, and healing projects, including residential, educational, and healthcare facilities.
  2. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that project designs meet building codes, zoning regulations, and other requirements.
  3. Assisting with the preparation of project cost estimates and schedules, and managing project budgets.
  4. Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  5. Providing technical support and guidance to junior technologists and other team members.
  6. Participating in site visits and inspections to monitor progress and identify any issues that need to be addressed.
  7. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of project progress and documentation.
  8. Assisting with the preparation of presentations and reports for clients and other stakeholders.
  9. Participating in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor of Architecture or a Advanced Diploma in Architectural Technology and 3+ years experiences in a BIM role. You should be proficient in producing BIM documents in Revit and have strong knowledge of building technology, methodology, material applications ans interpretation of manufacturer requirements
