Government Organization in Victoria BC hiring for a 6 Month Contract Administration Clerk

Your new company
This company is a well-established government housing organization that specializes in working with communities across BC. Due an influx of work within the team they are seeking an administrative clerk to join them for a 6-month contract at their Victoria office.

Your new role
This position is full-time, Monday-Friday for 6 months. The main requirement would be dealing with the public and handling the switchboard. You will service tenants at we are the store front and support with applicants. This is a multitasking position, dealing with the daily duties at reception, receiving mail, preparing mail, receiving packages from couriers, helping with other duties and supporting the admin team.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position you must be available full-time, Monday-Friday for 6 months. You will be based on Vancouver Island. You will have excellent communication and organization skills. Previous experience working in an office environment with general administrative skills are essential, along with working in a variety of systems including MS Office.

What you'll get in return
You will be working full-time hours with a fantastic team and receive weekly pay while contracting with Hays. While this is a 6 contract, there may be the opportunity for this role to extend further if successful
