Your New Role
We are seeking an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk for a 14-month contract at our Mississauga location. Reporting to the Controller, you will play a key role in supporting multiple Canadian plants by ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and receipts. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our Accounting department and may lead to a permanent role after the contract ends.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and maintain documentation for accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and execute cheque runs and wire transfers.
  • Sort, match, and input supplier invoices accurately.
  • Ensure expenses are recorded in the correct accounting period.
  • Assist with year-end reconciliations and reporting.
  • Maintain sub-ledgers and process cash receipts.
  • Prepare Excel spreadsheets and perform general accounting duties.
  • Comply with company policies and OHSA regulations.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • 1 year of business college or 1–3 years of accounts payable related experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and communicate effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
  • Experience operating standard office equipment is an asset.
