We are working with a consumer goods company to support them with a hire in their Calgary, AB office. This role requires a highly skilled professional who can integrate seamlessly into our team, communicate effectively, and contribute to financial accuracy and efficiency.

Your new role

We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee key financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, inventory, intercompany transactions, and account reconciliations across Canada, the U.S., and the U.K.

• Manage AP, AR, and inventory processes
• Oversee intercompany transactions and account reconciliations
• Ensure financial accuracy and compliance across multiple regions
• Support accounting operations and workflow optimization
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies

What you'll need to succeed

• CPA or CGA designation required (a combination of comparable experience and education may still be considered)
• Proven ability to adapt quickly, collaborate effectively, and communicate clearly
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Controller or Accounting Manager, ideally 3–5 years

• Experience with Sage software
• Strong passion for accounting and a drive for success

What you'll get in return

You will be working for a company which is a leader within their industry. This is a contract with the potential to extend. You will be paid on a weekly basis at an hourly rate of $50-$60 per hour.
