You agree not to share, copy or transmit to a third party any candidate data, unless you have unambiguous evidence that the consent of the candidate to such transfer has been obtained. You will indemnify and hold Hays websites harmless for any and all liability howsoever arising (to the fullest extent allowed by law) which the Hays group may incur should you use the hays.ca database of Candidate Profiles or other data about individuals derived from this website for any other purpose other than that for which they were provided.

You agree to comply with the Terms of Use of this website and accept Hays’ right to suspend or cancel your registration immediately at our reasonable discretion without liability to you, if you breach such terms of use.


Candidate Disclaimer

You understand and consent that in order to facilitate the recruitment process on your behalf, Hays may forward your details to clients at their sole discretion, and additionally display promotional excerpts from your details on the hays.com website or other websites of the Hays group. You agree and accept that your present employer may access the hays.ca or other Hays group websites and you unconditionally waive any and all claims you may have against Hays as a result of any loss you may suffer as a result of the information being displayed on these websites.

Phishing Warning

Hays Specialist Recruitment (Canada) Inc (“Hays”) has been notified of imposters using the Hays name in an attempt to elicit personal information from job seekers.  Recent attempts involve fake LinkedIn profiles set up to appear that persons affiliated with Hays are seeking applicants to fill positions.  These imposters may use InMail, Gmail or some other platform to contact people regarding “open positions” and have even requested banking information from candidates.

Hays does not request banking or other financial account information from candidates.  We advise you do not ever provide sensitive personal information such as addresses, birthdates, banking or other account information to an unsolicited contact. We further advise you do not open any attachments on e-mails from someone you do not know.

Common signs that an e-mail may be part of a phishing scam:
•    There’s a request for your credit card  or bank account numbers, your social insurance number, or other sensitive information
•    The contact email address contains the domain @live.com, @yahoo.com, @hotmail.com, @gmail.com etc. Contact by our consultants is made only from a Hays.com e-mail account
•    The job/position requires you to make an investment
•    You are required to act immediately or miss the opportunity
•    The email contains misspellings and/or grammatical errors
•    The job and/or salary sound too good to be true
•    You are asked to send a photo of yourself
•    The posting or email lists no qualifications, job requirements, or details about the job

If you receive any e-mail soliciting you for a position vacancy, you are encouraged to call the Hays office nearest you to validate the solicitation.
