Rowan O'Grady, Hays Canada President
Rowan began with Hays in 1995, joining Construction & Property in London, on the Trades & Labour desk, before helping to establish C&P in Dublin when it opened in 1996. He was promoted through to regional manager, and then joined the task force of fee-earners who left the UK to spearhead Hays entry to the Canadian market in 2001. Rowan left Canada in 2004, to return to Hays in Ireland but returned in April 2009 to oversee all of Canada.

Jim Fearon, Vice President - Central Canada
Jim joined Hays in 1998 in Plymouth, England. In June 2000 he moved to Australia to help launch our business in Perth. Eleven years later, Jim relocated to Calgary to take up his current role. Over the years, Jim has gained a breadth of experience covering permanent, temporary and contract recruitment in a wide array of industries that include construction, engineering, property and facilities management, oil and gas, mining, energy and more latterly, accounting and finance and IT.
Jim is available for comment on the Central region of Canada and the US and in particular the Construction & Property and Oil & Gas industry.
Andy Robling, VP of Business Development Canada
Andy joined Hays in 1991 as an Accountancy & Finance consultant in the Cambridge office. Andy went on to manage several offices and whilst working in senior finance was promoted to Business Director and subsequently Regional Director within public services. Subsequently an Accountancy and Finance board director he then held a cross specialism role heading up public services for the UK. Andy moved to Toronto to oversee the Mississauga and Toronto in January 2013. In 2015 he was appointed to the new role of VP of Business Development.

Jackie Burns, Director People & Culture - Americas
Jackie joined Hays as a consultant in Scotland in April 2000, before immigrating to Canada in August 2004 to facilitate the opening of the Vancouver office. She recruited for Accounting & Finance professionals in both locations from entry level to Senior appointments for eight years and was promoted to VP - Western Canada in January 2010. In March 2016, Jackie was appointed Director People & Culture - Americas, a newly created position within Hays.
Louisa Benedicto, Regional Director
Louisa Benedicto, Regional Director joined Hays in January 2002 in the UK and progressed to Senior Manager for Hays Contact Centers in the Greater London area, where she managed and oversaw large volume contracts and start up projects for Contact Centres. In 2008, Louisa moved to Japan to assist with the transition of the recently acquired business into the Hays Group. Louisa set up and managed 5 teams; Hays Accountancy & Finance, Hays Legal, Hays Office Professionals, Hays Sales & Marketing and Hays Human Resources. Louisa was promoted to Business Director in 2012 following successful development of these teams, and moved to Toronto in 2013 to take responsibility as Divisional Director for Hays Accountancy & Finance, Hays Human Resources, Hays Life Science and Hays Office Support.
Louisa was promoted in 2016 to Regional Director of the GTA covering the Contract, Temp and Permanent teams. Louisa is a certified coach and manages her team with a dynamic and caring manner whilst driving to deliver the best service in the GTA recruitment market. Her global experience gives her a clear competitive edge in the local Canadian market, combining 15 years of global recruitment practise across Europe, Asia and North America. She speaks Spanish, basic French and Japanese.
Soley Soucie, Divisional Director - Eastern Region
Soley got her start in the banking sector but transferred to Hays 10 years ago to open the company’s Ottawa branch. She took quickly to the fast-paced world of recruitment and progressed steadily, now overseeing Hays Canada’s Eastern operations, including two offices in Ottawa and Montreal.
Alistair Houghton, Business Director A&F
Alistair is a business graduate with over 16 years of Accounting and Finance recruitment experience.Before his move to Canada in 2002, Alistair started his career in the UK in a regional role covering the recruitment of designated positions across three offices and working with leading businesses in the telecoms, manufacturing, distribution, pharmaceutical and consumer products sectors.
Since his arrival in Canada, Alistair has continued to work on designated Accounting and Finance positions in the Southwestern Ontario region and currently leads the Accounting and Finance team for the Mississauga office where he has consistently been a top performer within the company. He is a career recruiter, and has a passion for providing quality and service.
Travis O'Rourke, Head of Hays Talent Solutions Canada
Travis O’Rourke, Head of Hays Talent Solutions - Canada, has been with Hays for six years. Hays Talent Solutions is our line of business which handles all areas of recruitment outsourcing. (Vendor Management Systems (VMS), Managed Service Provisions (MSP), Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) Payrolling (CMO). He has well over 30,000 hours of hands on contingent workforce management experience and has managed contingent workforces in every province. Travis has extensive knowledge of Government, Financial Services, Insurance, Banking and Consulting industries.
Travis currently sits on the board of directors for the National Association of Canadian Consulting Businesses (NACCB) and has extensive and current knowledge of relevant recruitment and contract worker legislation across all provinces. Travis sits on a sub-committee working with industry and government surrounding the classification of workers and the definition of a precarious workforce. Travis’ exposure to contract workforce legislation is second to none in the industry.
