Temporary Workers | Completing your timesheet | Hays Canada
Please follow the following guidelines when filling out your timesheet and if you have any queries, phone your consultant, as incomplete timesheets could result in a delay to your pay.
- Complete your details clearly in block capital letters, using ink. Be sure to include your assignment number and week-ending date (always Sunday to Saturday).
- Total your hours in the boxes for the days you worked. Please remember to round your hours to the nearest quarter hour (.25, .50, .75).
- Separate timesheets must be used for different week-endings.
- Personal Details section of the timesheet should be completed so that payroll can reach the worker / contractor if consultant is unavailable.
- Make sure that the client section is correctly completed and signed on the Friday of each week, or the last day of the assignment if it ends mid-week. Please take a copy of the timesheet for submission to the client.
- Timesheets (employee) and Record of Hours with invoices (sole proprietors and incorporated contractors) must be faxed Friday pm of the same work week, no later than Monday at 10:00 am to Hays Specialist Recruitment Payroll Office at (416) 367-4298 or toll free at 866-420-4298 DO NOT send to consultants branch.
- Please tick the appropriate box if this is your final timesheet submission for a particular assignment.
- Pay day is always Friday after the week the worker / contractor works.
- Do not make any changes to the timesheet after the client has signed it. If you have made a mistake, please contact your consultant or the Customer Service Department at (416) 367 HAYS. Any timesheet which is different from the client's copy will have to be verified and payment may be delayed.
- We pay by direct deposit only, changes to the processing schedule due to holidays will be included with worker / contractor's pay statement.
- Please note: if timesheet is incomplete, incorrect or not received by the Monday 10:00 am deadline, worker's pay may be delayed.
