Speakers: Rowan O’Grady, President & Alistair Houghton, Senior Manager of Hays Canada
Rowan has been with Hays for 17 years, and took on the role as President for Hays Canada in 2009. He has provided his expertise in recent interviews with CHCH, Sun TV, CityTV, on topics from job market trends to immigration reform to the provincial and federal budget. Alistair has been with Hays for 13 years, and has been providing recruitment services and expertise to the manufacturing, distribution and service industry sectors in Canada for close to 10 years.

Topic: Human Resources and Recruitment Post Recession
Where companies have improved as a result of the recession with relation to their human resources and recruitment and what challenges still lie ahead in the post recession era.

Speaker: Derek Burleton, Vice President and Deputy Chief Economist, TD Bank Financial Group
In his role as Vice President and Deputy Chief Economist at TD Bank Financial Group, Derek heads a team that provides leading Canadian economic and financial analysis. Derek has also authored a number of reports that have generated considerable attention across the country, including: "A New Normal: Canada's Potential Growth During Recovery and Beyond", "The Coming Era of Fiscal Restraint" and "Charting a Course for Sustainable Health Care in Ontario". He is frequently called upon to speak to the media on economic issues.

Topic: European Debt Crisis’s Impact on Canada
A discussion on the European debt crisis and how it relates to other key macroeconomic developments along with its impact on Canada’s economic and financial landscape over the next few years.

Speaker: John Forester, CFO, DBG Canada.
John is the CFO for DBG Canada which has international operations that supply the heavy truck, automotive, military and consumer & industrial industries. John has previously held senior finance roles at multinational companies that manufacture and sell in more than one country including SPAR Aerospace and Nissan. As a change agent John has led the growth and transformation of the finance function and the organization to take the business to higher levels. John has a B. Commerce, CMA and MBA.

Speaker: Paul Boucher, B.Ind. Eng, P.Eng, Associate, Special Advisory Services
Paul is an Associate and BDO’s Manufacturing Special Advisory Services Practice Leader, specializing in scientific research and experimental development (SR&ED) tax credits for qualifying Canadian companies. Paul has over 25 years of automotive industry experience including manufacturing, engineering, product and process design and development, and operations management and 10 years of professional services experience assisting clients with funding their innovation initiatives.
