DNA of a CFO Huge Success Thanks to All Those Involved

Posted Rowan O'Grady, Hays Canada President on Wednesday, May 28, 2014

DNA of a CFO Image

Thank you to all of the Chief Financial Officers across Canada that contributed to our DNA of a CFO Project. It has been an overwhelming success. Despite the diversity in backgrounds and industries of those interviewed, it was fascinating to see that there are extraordinary similarities in key personality traits they attribute to success and their value in motivational management. Being a CFO is clearly a very rewarding job (as 95% told us they are happy with their career choice); however, the journey takes a lot of hard work and passion. Request your copy of our inaugural DNA of a CFO report to find out more.

I would also like to extend a special thank you to our featured CFOs, Dean McCann of Canadian Tire, David Smales of Aecon, Wouter Vosmeer of Molson Coors and Bill Tofflemire of Wal-Mart, for imparting their unique insights in our DNA of a CFO video. If you haven’t yet seen it, watch now to hear about their career journeys and get their advice for the next generation of finance professionals.

If you are looking to learn more about our "DNA of..." Project, make sure you refer to our DNA section and hear from Canadian business leaders.
